
The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Association. Each year an election is held at the Annual Convention for one-half of the seats on the Board. Any current, Regular member of the Association is eligible to run for the Board.
Christopher MacKrell is currently President of Custom Courier Solutions, Inc a full service transportation organization based in Saratoga Springs, New York. Custom Courier Solutions, Inc provides the full range of logistic services to the less than 24 hour delivery market. Prior to Custom Courier Solutions, Inc Mr. MacKrell was with CD&L, a full service transportation company based in Hackensack, New Jersey, where he held the position of Manager of Business Development and oversaw the company’s sales effort in the Northeast. Prior to joining CD&L, Mr. MacKrell was Regional Vice President-East overseeing the field sales and ground operations of AirNet Systems eastern US operations. AirNet operates a fleet of turbo and jet powered aircraft servicing the Banking and Medical industry based in Columbus, Ohio.
Prior to AirNet Systems Mr. MacKrell was employed by Velocity Express, and its predecessor companies, in various National Sales and Senior operations position in the Northeast. Mr. MacKrell has been active in the transportation industry since 1982.
Mr. MacKrell resides in Saratoga Springs, New York with his wife and two sons.
Upon graduation from Drexel University in 1989, Rob worked his way up various sales positions at IBM. However, Rob wanted to control his own destiny, so he teamed up with college roommate, Gerry Frey, to start Priority Express Courier in 1994. A focus on providing quality service while aggressively growing the business has landed Priority on Inc. Magazine’s Fastest Growing Company list and the Inc. 500 for the last 3 years. Priority has emerged as a leading regional provider of time critical same day delivery and scheduled route delivery, with offices in the Philadelphia and New Jersey markets.
Kirk is President & co-owner of Corporate Couriers, which he founded in 1993. The company has offices in Ft. Worth and Austin, Texas, and provides time critical same day delivery, scheduled route delivery, and distribution services within Central and North Central Texas. Implementing and leveraging emerging technologies has led Corporate Couriers to be recognized as one of the most efficient courier companies in the country. Kirk also owns SmartIcon Technologies LLC, which is the developer of SmartLogin, a patent pending 1-Click Login desktop app.
Since 2006 he has served on the Board of Directors of MCAA and currently chairs the Technology committee. He also serves on the Magazine and Public Relations committees. Kirk received his BBA degree from Texas Christian University, and resides in Fort Worth, TX with his wife, Kelley, and two daughters.

John has served on the Board of Directors of MCAA since 2007 and chaired the State Association Support, Vendor, and Membership Committees; he currently serves as the Secretary on the Executive Committee.
John has over 26 years of logistics and transportation experience, both in the Private and Public sectors. John has senior management experience with multiple airlines, 3PL and warehouse/distribution operations, along with extensive knowledge in Air, Ground and Pharmaceutical logistics. In November 1999, John founded MANKO Delivery Systems Inc. that is headquartered in Tampa, Florida.
John has been very successful over his entire career in building strong and efficient operating teams in fast paced growth environments. John has proven leadership abilities in delivering innovative logistics solutions and consistent best in class service to all he works with.

Chuck Moyer Express Courier - Franklin, TN
Chuck has over 35 years of transportation experience. Chuck came to our industry with 9 years of tractor-trailer and airfreight experience. His 26 years experience in the courier industry ranges from operating as an independent contractor to all positions up to and now including Chief Operating Officer for Express Courier International, Inc. (Nashville, Tennessee). Chuck started his career in the courier industry with Priority Dispatch (Cincinnati) in 1984 and joined Express Courier (Nashville) in 1993. His responsibilities include overseeing operations for 19 facilities, 900 independent contractors, 140 employees and annualized sales totaling over 35 million dollars.

Michael Gualtieri is President of ProCourier, Inc. The company maintains 3 locations in Connecticut - West Hartford, New Haven and Stamford and provide same day and overnight delivery to the state's business community.
Since 1997 he has served on the Board of Directors of MCAA and chaired the State Association, Ethics, Magazine and Convention committees and served as President of MCAA from May, 2008 to May, 2010. Mike has worked in various capacities in the air express, overnight and same day courier industry since 1980. He founded ProCourier, his third start up in 1997. Jason Burns QCS Logistics - Saint Rose, LA
Jason Burns is an up & coming civic and business leader in the New Orleans community. He is a 2006 graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he earned a B.A. in Communication Studies and selected as the recipient of the Head Coach’s Dedication Award (student-athlete in football).
Jason returned to his hometown in late 2007 to assume a key role in his family’s business enterprises, including Burns Management Group (BMG), Global Parking Systems (GPS) and QCS Logistics (formerly Quick Courier Services, Inc). Although Jason wears many hats, his true passion is leading the rebirth of QCS Logistics as one of the premier transportation & warehousing providers in Louisiana. As a second generation owner of QCS, Mr. Burns used his talents to reenergize the company by implementing a new state-of-the-art technology platform, he increased the companies’ service offerings to its growing customer base and expanded QCS’s footprint to new markets within region. These initiatives have resulted in record growth for the company over the past few years. As the director of business development, he recently led a marketing campaign to rebrand the organization to reflect its new growth in the logistics industry.
Mr. Burns’s civic duties include being a founding member of The Urban League of Greater New Orleans Young Professionals chapter and an active member in “504ward” (an organization dedicated to retaining young professionals in N.O.). Jason was also a member of New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s Transition team and was recently selected to participate in the nationally recognized Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.

Rick has been with OnTrac since 1994 and manages special projects such as acquisitions, market expansion, product development, litigation, and independent contractor vendor development. OnTrac's Corporate Risk Department, Safety Department, and Human Resource Departments also report directly to him. Rick has 25 years of transportation business management experience, and prior to joining OnTrac he held senior management positions with both Roadway and Emery Worldwide. Rick is a current member of the MCAA Board of Directors and is a member of the Government Affairs Committee.

Charles F. Chiusano is Vice President of Avant Business Services Corp. Avant has offices in New York City, Stamford, CT, and Hartford, CT. He has been in the expedited delivery business since 1973, when he joined Airline Delivery Services (re branded as Avant in 2006). In the years he has been in the industry he has held several positions in The New York State Messenger and Courier Association. He also represents Avant in their membership in the Connecticut Messenger & Courier Association.
Twice past president of the NY Association, and long term board member, he was responsible for the name change, and the successful outreach program to include members from every part of the state. For many years he was a member of the Datatrac Customer Advisory Board.
He has been married for 31 years, and his wife and he have one child, a daughter.
In addition to the industry associations, he is a member of the Board of Trustees of two Schools Special Needs Children, and a member of the Leadership Committee of the Intrepid Sea/Air Space Museum.

J.D. Gamble has over 30 years of experience in the same-day delivery industry. He is the President & CEO of AEXGroup. He began his career in the transportation industry in his father’s air cargo business in the 1970s. In 1983, he founded 1st Courier, a successful time-critical logistics company based out of Pittsburgh, PA. In 1989, Gamble merged 1st Courier with the multi-national Australian-based Mayne Nickless Courier Systems and was appointed as Eastern Regional Vice-President. He joined AEXGroup in 1993 as Executive Vice President & COO.
Steve Howard Esquire Express - Miami, FL
Steve has been in the expedited delivery business for the majority of his professional career. He started an on demand legal courier service in Miami, Florida at the age of 23 after completing his studies at Florida State University. Esquire Express, started in 1990, quickly became one of the largest legal couriers in South Florida. In 1992 Steve successfully launched Esquire Express Service of Process division which, along with his courier service, is still thriving today.
In 2000, Steve began Esquire Logistics, Inc. to capture a piece of the market that a small package courier company could not service well; large straight truck deliveries. Esquire Logistics has grown into a regional power house operating out of a 40,000 sq. ft. facility in Miami, Florida. From one dock they service the entire Southern Peninsula of Florida providing white glove, brown glove, air freight and general freight deliveries.
Steve is the treasurer of the Florida Messenger Association and would like to bring his 21+ years of experience in the delivery industry to the MCAA to assist in whatever capacity is needed to continue to move our association and industry forward.
Steve is married to Anita Howard for 13 years and has three children, Austin, Sydney and Stephanie. He is an Eagle Scout and a Boy Scout leader and heads the Order of the Arrow, Boy Scouts honor society, for one of the largest troops in Florida.

Monte O’Hara founded Capital Express Inc. with his wife Debi in 1987 with two delivery vehicles. Today Capital Express is a regional courier with operations in eight (8) states. Monte is also a partner in Naparex, LLC. Naparex is a online national courier with operations in all U.S. States. Monte is President of Western Iowa Youth Sports Inc. which provides free tackle football to over 700 youth. He has been a member of MCAA since 1993 and has served on the ethics committee. He is the Nebraska State Captain for the Government and Legal Affairs Committee and has participated in the MCAA lobby day both years. Monte enjoys golfing, boating, riding his Harley, and tennis in his free time. Matt Seiter, along with Mike Bernecker and Robert Smith, founded Relay Express in 1986 with three pickup trucks and sheer determination. Relay Express has grown from a small city courier to a regional transportation provider with 4 offices and over 120 independent contract drivers. Bob has wide association and government affairs experience, having previously worked for The National Petrochemical & Refiners Association, The Heritage Foundation, the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, the American Petroleum Institute and the United States International Trade Commission. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in public and international affairs from the University of Pittsburgh.
